"I Don't Go Back and 'Fix': A Journey of Artistic Expression"

"I Don't Go Back and 'Fix': A Journey of Artistic Expression"

As a boy, I dreamed of creating, imagining, living the life of an artist. That dream lay dormant within me as I navigated family life and a 50-year career. Occasionally, I'd dabble in sketching or painting, but art always took a backseat. Only upon retirement did I find the freedom and time to dedicate myself to the study of art.

I decided I must document my precious life moments, the people and places I love, as reflected in my eyes. I let my brush lead, creating a visual narrative from the fragments of my experiences. The brush is the voice of my ancient and deep need to express myself through art.

I don't dwell on "fixes." Life is too short, and there are so many creations waiting to be revealed. Each piece is a unique reflection of emotions, time, and place. That moment cannot be replicated. Every brushstroke is a testament to the fleeting beauty of life, a reminder that every moment is precious and unique.

My art is a journey of discovery, a celebration of life's moments, and an expression of the beauty in imperfection. It's a reminder that life is an ongoing work of art, and every moment is an opportunity to create something beautiful.
